Woodstock is a favourite of mine – I grow it with tulip Purple Prince, although sadly it has gone over now in this warm spring. I like the idea of magenta pansies – I think I will add some in the autumn. It is lovely to see hyacinths en masse like that – thank you for sharing.
That photo was taken in Sweden on Wednesday morning, we were on the briefest of visits, they have also had a milder spring although still much colder than ours, it was interesting that their Hyacinths were in flower at the same time as the tulips, at home they always flower first or are waning when the first tulips flower. I haven’t grown Woodstock but I really liked it and love the sound of Purple prince as a combination.
They do have a great colour, i like hyacinth but I think I am in the minority
I must admit this is the first time I have seen Woodstock planted en masse and I surprised myself by liking it so much, the colour is quite gaudy.
Julie, this is so cool.
I spotted these this morning on the edge of a quite industrial area, they are so jolly and bright and I really like the colour.
I really love those colours! I’m a fan of pink in any form. 😀
They were certainly jolly, we saw some more planted today with deep purple tulips and magenta pansies, that looked really lovely too. 🙂
Beautiful hyacinths! I planted some for the first time last fall, can’t wait to see them bloom.
Enjoy them Jason, they have a lovely scent too.

What a great combination, the pink with purple Woodstock. I love it, especially grown en masse like that.
I really like it too, I am quite adverse to sugary pink flowers but the deeper pinks with purple are lovely.
