I have two mason bee houses, which are small stingless native bees that nest in tubes. But I love this even more! It’s like having the entire neighborhood all in one place!
I started to collect pallets to build my own, but a lack of communication about my plans with my husband meant he spent a long time dismantling them and removing the nails for our kindling pile. I am going to build a mini one though. 🙂

Just goes to show how creative these insect hotels can be and its full of lovely things to look at too for humans and bees. 🙂

Everywhere seems to be putting these in now, but this is definately one of the more interestingly designed. As you say we should all have one!

Its quite therapeutic to collect the different elements. I have seen another using old gardening boots that was quite fun.
