Predictive text is infuriating, especially when you look back and see gibberish and a change of meaning on the page. I love these delicate Narcissus too and albidus is very special.
We are fortunate that there are some great gardens with lovely Alpine houses over here. We went to Harlow Carr last year and the new Alpine house there is definitely worth a visit.
Yes, the white one is far easier for a computer to understand too. Its proper name was considerably longer with a subp. too, having been sent goggly eyed with correcting predictive text, I omitted its subp. so the white one it is! 🙂
Hi Jason, thats the first time I have used the ‘gallery’ option and having labelled each Narcissus, the words disappeared until you scroll over the picture, but clockwise they are Narcissus bulbocodium, Narcissus albidus, Narcissus romieuxii.
Aren’ t they fabulous? I love them all, but specially N. alibidus.
Sorry, predictive text strikes again. Nothing to do with alibis. I meant albidus.

What a gorgeous bit of something beautiful to start the day…Great response to the Wednesday Challenge.
Thanks Charlie, I see you have some Spring like weather and a bit warmer than us today, hopefully not too long before we see some Narcissus outdoors.
Those are very special! they look so delicate but in reality are very tough. Thank you!
Amazing isn’t it, how tough early Spring flowers are, I’m looking forward to seeing some in the garden now.
Those are lovely – so delicate.
I really like them too, I have mainly tougher types of Narcissus at home, lots of delicate looking crocus just starting to appear though.
Just perfect. Wish I could go somewhere and see some little sweeties like that!

Shall remember that if I ever manage to get there! Meanwhile I can enjoy other people’s pics!
They are all exquisite – I don’t think I could pick a favourite 🙂
Seeing these Alpines up close makes me feel quite giddy, I’d like them all. 🙂
These are lovely, Julie. So delicate.
I love this time of year when things start to emerge Clare, it feels hopeful.
I agree with Chloris, the white one is stunning!

So beautiful! What class of Narcissus are they?

A balm to the spirit!
Yes! I found them very uplifting too, such a hopeful sight.
