My favourite combination – stitchwort as it grows through long grasses in spring makes me look and look again every year.

And a tiny little bee (or wasp?) in the lower right. Most times when I’m taking flower photos, I don’t see the insect until later. The extra little surprise always gives me a thrill.
Yes I did not spot that until later, I am not entirely certain what sort of insect that is, I wish I did, so much to learn!

Beautiful! You are right about the combination of the two flowers. Such complimentary shapes and colours. Plantlife is such a hardworking organisation – I love their magazine! I’ve been a member since they started 25 years ago.

Love the Stitchwort! I’ve never seen it before, it has an unusual and fetching shape.
Stitchwort is a wonderful wildflower Jason, this time of year its really plentiful along the hedgerows here.

When Stitchwort first appears it’s really uplifting, I always feel excited when I see the first one of the season.
