We live a couple of miles from Wrest Park, which makes for an easy walk and great views when we get there. Just wish the snow had lasted longer than one day.
Julie, we had a couple here too last week. Not a lot, though. Now we have an icy cold. I hope that won’t last too long either!
We have similar but not as icy cold as Toronto, Cynthia, that is cold! We are due milder next week, I really hope your weather improves too.
A lovely composed winter photograph.
Thanks Brian, we live locally and on a winters day, this view is one of my favourites.
A lovely shot, Julie!
Thanks Tina, its a lovely place to visit and we are very fortunate to live close by.
This is a really lovely photo Julie. How lucky you are to live so near this wonderful place! All our snow has gone today – just the ice left now! I am not looking forward to the rain and wind at the weekend – I’d rather have snow I think!
I’d much rather have the snow too, at least the ground would be frozen to walk on rather than the mud more rain will bring. Hopefully a warm dry Spring will be in store for us.
Wouldn’t that be lovely!
Such a peaceful place 🙂
It is peaceful to walk here or just stop and stare awhile, lots of folk visit the Tea rooms and playground area but luckily for us, do not go into the main garden.
Julie, what a beautiful photo. There is something so calming and restful about a garden in winter isn’t there and you have captured this so beautifully in your picture. Wishing you more beautiful winter days but no rain!
Thanks so much Kate! Winter snow and sunshine are really uplifting as the light levels soar. The days are starting to get longer so onwards to Spring with any luck, but in the meantime I would not mind a few more snowy days.
Lovely strong image. A perfect moment frozen in time.
Thanks Teresa, the snow only lasted a day, I wish it were here longer!
We live locally but never take this view for granted, it really is beautiful whatever season we visit in. 🙂
